Buurtbewoner gooit iets in een ondergrondse container - Binfinity Access

Who opens your container? And what happens next?

Containers being misused. Bulk waste piling up next to the bin. Unauthorized access in certain neighborhoods. The problem is rarely the container itself. The problem is the lack of insight.

Access control is the first step. Once you know who has access and what’s happening, you can act. On routes, on policy, on the entire waste chain.

From constant hassle to total control

☑️ Less misuse, fewer bulk deposits. Only authorized users get access. Less contamination, fewer complaints, tackled at the source.

☑️ Real insight into what’s actually happening. Every opening logged. Per container, location or neighborhood. Data for policy and accountability.

☑️ More efficient routes, lower costs. Let data drive routes, not fixed schedules. Fewer trips, less CO2.

☑️ The foundation for a digital container platform. The base layer for connecting sensors and data applications. Step by step.

This is how Binfinity Access works

1. Access

The user identifies with a card, keytag or phone. The system automatically checks whether access is permitted and unlocks the hatch.

1/3
2. Registration

Every interaction is logged. Time, container, user. Including unauthorized card attempts or unlocks where the lid wasn't opened.

2/3
3. Management

All data comes together in Binfinity Access Manager. Users, rules, container usage and integrations with existing systems. Everything in one place.

3/3

Works in any container. For years. Without hassle.

Binfinity Access fits in any container brand and operates for years without making adjustments to your infrastructure.

Binfinity 3d Access controller

Controller

You see what’s happening. The controller logs every opening and sends it to your dashboard in real time, no manual work needed.

You save time. The self-contained power supply runs for over 5 years without replacement or external connection.

Binfinity 3d T lock

Electronic lock

You choose what fits. The lock is available in multiple variants and works with any container type you already use.

Expand from smart container to digital waste platform

Binfinity Access is the foundation you build on. Because the controller already handles communication, power and data logging, additional solutions can be connected easily down the line. Without redesigning your container architecture.

That’s how you digitize the waste chain, step by step.

Questions we often get about Binfinity Access

Is Binfinity Access compatible with all container brands?

Yes. Binfinity Access is designed for universal application and works with virtually any type of waste container, both underground and above ground.

Which access methods are supported?

Residents and users can gain access via a waste card, keytag or mobile phone. You decide which method or combination you use.

How long does the battery last?

The power supply consists of a battery as standard, with an optional solar panel. The battery lasts more than 5 years without replacement or external power connection. If a solar panel is not possible, we can install an external battery with a lifespan of 1 to 3 years.

What happens if the system goes offline?

The system also works without an active connection. Access rights are stored locally on the controller. Once the connection is restored, all data is synchronized.

How do I integrate Binfinity Access with our existing systems?

Via open standards and API connections, Binfinity Access links to existing container management systems and municipal applications. No customization, no vendor lock-in.

How do I manage users and access rights?

Via the Binfinity Access Manager. There you create user groups for system administrators, such as Municipality X or Municipality Y. You also manage which residents have access to which containers. The connection to the physical containers themselves is handled via the CMS.

Is the system resistant to vandalism and bad weather?

Yes. The hardware is designed for intensive use in public spaces and meets IP67, the highest protection class against water and dust.

Which sensors can be connected to Binfinity Access?

The platform supports fill level sensors and litter around the container. The modular architecture makes it easy to add future sensor technology.

Can we also use Binfinity Access for DIFTAR / PAYT?

Yes. The registration of every opening per user forms the basis for Pay As You Throw systems / differentiated tariffs. The data connects with CMS systems, which in turn link to tax authorities.
