Prometheus Informatics and Binfinity Join Forces Around the E-Ident Solution

Prometheus Informatics B.V. today announced that the E-Ident solution will be transferred to Binfinity B.V. This step marks not only a strategic acquisition but, more importantly, the beginning of a close and long-term partnership between both organizations.

The E-Ident solution fits seamlessly within Binfinity’s existing activities. For many years, Binfinity has been providing identification systems for the waste management industry, primarily based on LF technology and increasingly on UHF technology. The addition of Prometheus’ UHF-based solutions further strengthens and expands this portfolio.

E-Ident automates the identification and registration of waste containers during collection operations. As a result, every container emptying event is reliably recorded and immediately available for processing and invoicing. Combined with Binfinity’s service organization and field service engineers, customers benefit from comprehensive support throughout both implementation and ongoing operations.

For Prometheus Informatics, this transition enables a stronger focus on the further development of its core business: onboard computer solutions. At the same time, the relationship between both companies remains strong. Customers transitioning to Binfinity will continue to use Prometheus Informatics’ onboard computer solutions, which integrate seamlessly with E-Ident.
